WLC 400: Capstone
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Students work with the instructor and WLC faculty advisors to research, synthesize, write and present their Capstone projects. Students will also complete a Graduation ePortfolio reflecting how each MLO was met. This course is required for all Japanese Language and Culture, and Spanish Language and Hispanic Cultures majors.
Course Narrartive:
This course was the last requirment to graduate. This the course we got to work more in our Capstone Project. Throughout the semester we did writing assignment that helped us with our final capstone project. At first I thought it was going to be hard to write 30 pages for our project but the way we did the research project made it easier and it did not feel like we had to write 30 pages. With the help of out advisor Christine Fernandez my group and I were able to complete out Capstone project. My group and I decided to do our project on The Abuse in Human Rights in Mexico in The Night of Tlatelolco and Ayotzinapa: Eternal Hours. We were inspired by a previous course we took, Span 330. We wanted to compare both texts and find what they had in common and also rescue the voice of the victims throught the testimonies.
